" Both [you] and MaryO have provided so much help and comfort (not to mention tons and tons of hard work) by posting information and fostering this online community. I have never met another cushie in person, but I have connected with many online and their support has been invaluable. "

Michelle, Steroid-induced Bio
smaller text tool iconmedium text tool iconlarger text tool icon

Hi. . . my name is Michelle.  I have been on and off of steriods all my adult life.  Started with treatment of my migraines, but now I have muscular
skeletal issues, pancreatitis, ibs, endometriosis (dealt with), cervical fusion, in a nut shell.  Anyway, the last 36 months I have been in hospital over
four months total and have had eight surgeries.  I have had numerous steriod packs, ivs, and injections.  I am doing pretty good now, I think, except
for the lump on my back and this huge abdomen that has een there for about a year, but keeps getting worse.  I have not had steriod injections for
about 6 months now, but the abdomen is getting larger.

In April Doc says it'll go down it's due to steriods, but since its getting worse, I wonder if more is going on since I have so much going on anyway.

I used be size 4 and about 125 in 2007 when all this new stuff began, now I am about 150 and have to wear yoga pants all the time.  I have now started
buying maternity clothes.  Funny thing bout the pants, because my tummy is so large, but my butt is small, things just fall off.  lol.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.  Diet?  Fasting?  Any thoughts?
