Cushing's Info

My mom Torri, had her adrenal gland removed last spring and this weekend she will be down to 1mg of the steroid.

It has been a very rough two or so years, diagnosing to dealing with all of the terrible side effects - moon face, hump back, swollen mid-section, acne, depression, extreme exhaustion.

Currently the biggest complaints my mom has are her knees and severe leg pain.  It saddens me to see her cry sometimes when she has difficulty getting up from the couch and now all the pressure she has been putting on her risks is causing tendonitis.  I pray that her remaining adrenal gland kicks in and we find a path to recovery over the next couple of months.
