A get together of Cushies, near and far! To be held in a place yet to be determined on the weekend including 11 / 20 / 2011!! Not for awhile, so you've got time to plan!!

Ideas welcomed! Please post comments and questions on the event wall, and start saving away those disability cheques and alternative sources of income!!

Location – TBA, however at this point, I’m suggesting Winnipeg, MB, Canada, or St. Louis, MO, USA.

I’ve set the date as Friday, November 18th - Sunday November 20th. It’s a cool date, so I thought we should start this then! (Also, not during the hottest travel months for those of us who can't handle the heat!! And also not the busiest travel times, so hopefully we could get some deals on the venue and hotel, and travel arrangements!) Plus, that gives people plenty of time to look forward to it, and for the group to grow larger between now and then, as well as allowing time for people to save up the $$ money $$!

Venue – We need a hotel that can put up the people who are coming, plus provide us with a banquet room suitable for our activities! Considering most of us are still sick, we need easy access to the rooms, and it would save money to not have to deal with additional transportation between hotel rooms and the gathering spot.

We need an information package put together! I know the people from the Cushing’s Help site have a lot of info put together there, so perhaps someone who’s previously been involved with that would like to help out, and organize some information packages, which leads to the next thing…

Sponsors – we need sponsors! Hey, other groups get financial help and donations, why can’t we?!! My motto is, 'cheap is good, free is better!' I think if we have the right information put together, and know what we want, we can get it!! We can target drug companies, haha! And other companies like razor companies, and body lotion companies since we use their products so much when we’re sick! ;)
